Maheka Nath is currently a 9th-grader at the Sanskriti School in New Delhi, India, where she studies English, Science, Math, Social Studies and Spanish. Maheka holds a passionate interest in the myriad applications computer science has in modern society and to this end, has taken a course on coding in Python which has allowed her the opportunity to delve deeper into the world of AI. She is also a member of the school Debate club and has participated in several inter-school debates, eventually leading to her speaking about online education at the Bal Education Trust National Debate Competition in June 2022. Further, she is also a member of GirlUp, a United Nations foundation aimed at securing equal opportunities for girls from underserved communities in developing countries. 

Maheka also has a diverse range of passions: both athletic and artistic. She plays badminton at a local club and basketball for my school house team. She is also currently learning how to play the guitar and believes that an involvement in extracurricular activities are vital to one’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
